Marine Commandos or more commonly known asMarcos are the Special Forces unit of the Indian Navy created for conducting specialoperations. Although their structure and size is classifiedit is believed that there are 2000-2500 personnel. The Marcos are heavily trained and that they arecapable of undertaking missions altogether sorts of terrains and are taught to use all typesof weapons. Marcos usually undergo a stringent trainingprocess in their early 20s. Their training process is so tough that 90%of the applicants dropout during the training.
